How this site is paid for

Plumb & Level is funded by display advertising. Advertisements may be served by third-party advertising technology providers, including Google, which may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.

What advertisers do not get

• They do not see articles before publication.
• They cannot commission, alter, delay or remove editorial content.
• They cannot buy a recommendation, a ranking or a positive verdict.
• They receive no personal information about you from us.

Labelling

Any commercial unit is visually distinct from editorial content and labelled as advertising. If we ever publish sponsored content or introduce affiliate links, that specific page will carry a clear disclosure at the top, above the article, not buried in a footer.

Your choices

Reporting an advertisement

If you see an ad on this site that is misleading, offensive or malfunctioning, please tell us through the contact page with a screenshot and the page URL. We forward these to the ad network and can block specific advertisers.
